Equipment needs
Inquiries may be made by e-mail to clinic@mathelite.org or by telephone call to Prof. Clyde Greeno ; 918-836-6284.
For now, The MatheLite Project legally is an NPO activity of the MALEI Institute. So, the Institute is responsible for any ownership, purchses, rentals, or loans of equipment used by the Project ... including any supplies, maintenance or services needed for installing or using such equipment. As yet, the Project cannot yet actually own anything. But it does need to use equiment owned by the MALEI Institute or temporarily loaned to, or rented by, the Institute for purposes of the Project. Within that context, the Project must cover its pro rata share of the Institute's costs.
Monetary contributions for acuiring/using equipment may be made by check to:
The Mathelite Project, PO. Box 54145, Tulsa OK 74155
Monetary contributions that are intended to be used specifically for equipment (or for particular equipment items) should be accompanied by formal written declarations of those restrictions.
Monetary contributions that are made directly to the Project's account are tax-deductiible, and might or might be used for acquiring or using equiipment.
Donations of equipment also are tax-deductable and must be made to the Institute. If made with declaration of intent for the item(s) to be used in the Project, the donar will be regarded and listed as a contributor to the Project.
=====================================
Below are posted the Project's immediate needs for equipment and furnishings during the next fiscal quarter of project operations. Majpr Project goals for that quarter are to:
- expand the Community Advisory Council
- convene first Council meeting
- actualize a Project financial program
- establish clinical instructional and R&D systems and protocals
- achieve a waiting list of at least ten clinical "scholars"
- draft 3 Mathelite videos
- organize for a 2nd quarter AAC Workshop
- initiate the Children's Math Theater
